24^th March, 2008, was the day when the World Poker Tour Poker Challenge commenced. It is a $7500 event that is filled with excitement and thrill. In fact, the player who manages to win this tournament will earn the distinction of becoming the last WPT World Poker Challenge winner.

This tournament started in 2001. However, the World Poker Challenge unfortunately could not make it to the season seven schedule of WPT.
