Olympic Fever in Poker Too !

With the 2008 Beijing Olympics now well under way, poker is joining in with the fun in a series of round the world online events that celebrate the Olympian vibe. At Paddy Power Poker (PPP) special Olympic themed tournaments of Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Texas Hold’em has been set up, running each night for a week between 8-14 August, coinciding with the opening week of the Beijing Games. Each tournament will be money- added, with up to an additional $1,000 to the prize pool in some cases.

Players who take part in three or more of these PPP Olympic tournaments will qualify to play for the Gold Medal Freeroll on 15th August, with a top prize of an Irish Winter Festival package worth $4,500. Other prizes include a portion share of $10,000 that will be added to the tournament.
